Weiss Trucking Company has had a long track record in the trucking industry. The late Alvin Weiss started this business in 1934 with the motto, "We move anything, anywhere". Originally, Mr. Weiss got his start by hauling Marrow out of Stroh, Indiana and from there branched out into other areas. Incorporated in 1957, Weiss Trucking was involved in hauling a wide range of commodities. These included lumber, farm machinery, petroleum products and Agricultural products such as seeds, feeds, fertilizer and livestock. However, since the early 1960's, the main focus of business for Weiss has been the hauling of Dry Bulk Commodities. |
